I have been reading posts about tattoos out of boredom(yes i have one). And some answers to some of these posts are tattoos are stupid when your like 80 years old its going to be droopy and wrinkly ewww. So? So WHAT? i dont think an 80 yrold person will care ..they just care that they made it this far and had a wonderful life not some punk little boy/girl whispering eww that old lady had a tattoo. IF your one of those people you need a life. Thanks

My feelings exactly. I'm not a big fan of the whole body piercing or tattoo fad, but if people don't like them...they should just not look. I have two small tattoos myself. They aren't very visible, but they are there for me. No one else. I get sick of hearing people put others down for body art. Everyone does something that someone else may not like. So, get over it. It's not like my having a tattoo is harming anyone.

I know what you mean. I look at the questions posted and the answers and people say that all the time. And call them evil, dirty, all for show, just about rebellion, and a bunch of other bull honky. Why do these people care what is done with someone elses body out of personal choice? They do need to get a life and stop judging only to rationalize themselves. The definition of rationalizing is to justify ones personally based wants or thoughts. How is that right? I'd love to see an 80 year old that is still willing to show off a tattoo even if it is wrinkly and tell their grand kids the story around it. To me it would be like getting old war stories out of my grandpa, there aren't many they will tell but the ones they do are important!

I agree with you completely! Who cares what the hell-o people think?! I have a tattoo & I'm thinking of getting more. My philosophy is that I will only get ones that have meaning & I won't regret them when I get to be that age. If someone says something about my tattoos when I get to be that age you know what I'm gonna tell them? "Kiss my @$$...if you have a problem then DON'T LOOK! If you have one now then you're going to look the same way when you're my age so get over it!"

consider all the advances in medical techniques we have. Aging is a given but with all the health know how etc we can still look fabulous when we're old. I mean cher is practically a Zombie and she still has good looking skin. Who says your tattoo is going to be old and wrinkly?!?!?

This is because it takes alot less brain power to critisize than to actually answer a question. And all these yangs are floating around in sections they know nothing about.....

the world has just become too judgemental.

I could imagine that once you are really old, you're not going to be wearing these tight little pants and cut-off shirts to show off tattoos. Especially those ones above the crack of their rear-end.

I'm with you.
Everyone is different, everyone has different reasons for what they do--
the judgement some people show is scary.
