hi there yes it does

nsulin is a natural substance that your body makes. It helps the sugar from the food you eat to go from your blood to your body's cells. That way, the sugar you get from food can be used for energy. When you have Type 2 diabetes, your body doesn't make enough insulin. Or, it can't use the insulin it does make. If you have Type 1 diabetes, your body doesn't make any insulin at all. So, the sugar from the food you eat can't get from your blood to your cells.
That's why everyone with diabetes tries to have good blood sugar control. But how do you get control?
For most people, a great diabetes management plan includes what we call "the 4 M's." The M's stand for Monitoring, Meals, Moves (exercise), and Medicine.
Monitoring — keep track of your treatment plan with regular Monitoring of your blood sugar Meals — plan healthy and enjoyable Meals to help keep your blood sugar near goal Moves (exercise) — move your body to help lower your blood sugar by burning it for energy, and reduce your risk of complications from diabetes Medicine — learn about Medicines that are helpful for controlling diabetes when healthy Meals and Moves (exercise) are not enough We made

Hello!

Of course! Candy has a lot of sugar, and sugar is related to diabetics.

Besides, if your family got diabetics, that means there are probablities that you could get it also if you don't take care of yourself.

I once read that a can of soda has more sugar than a chocolate bar!

So be careful. Eat more vegetals and fruits, cereals, grains, etc. We should eat every 5 hours. Avoid meat, but in order to do this you should learn how to substitute the meat proteins (there are a lot of good sources of protein besides meat: beans, soy, nuts, peanuts, etc.

Look for more information. One thing is sure, we should not eat too much sugar.

Hope this helps. Take care, and God bless you!

Not only will candy increase your chances of diabetes, so will eating too much starch. Any sweets, white bread, pastas, white rice and potatoes will also increase your chances of the disease. Starches turn into sugar into your body and the pancreas produces insulin to regulate these sugars. You must burn the calories or these sugar calories will turn into fat. Also, the pancreas can produce too much insulin when one is on a high sugar diet. Symptons such as lethargy, unexplained weight loss, perspiration and dehydration can ensue with a diabetic. My gyno checks my sugar levels by having me urinate in a cup to take to a lab to get analyzed. Your doctor may do the same. Your best defense, in my opinion, is to keep your weight down and keep active.

It does have an effect on your body if you aren't eating the right kind of foods. That kind of diabetes is referred to usually as type two, or adult-onset diabetes. Take care of yourself. Don't eat candy. It's poison for your body.

Family history is a stronger preponent of the disease. Type 1 is the genetic predisposition of the body to cause the pancreas to fail to produce sufficient insulin for the body. Insulin will fluctuate and finally stop altogether. I just learned a few months ago that I have type 1 diabetes. It makes me kinda sad, but part of me feels like it always knew.

100% yes. If you have any genetic disposition to adult diabetes (Type II), try to stay away from sugar shock foods like candy, desserts or sodas.

I assure you that there is a sugar and white bread conspiracy, and most food items in the grocery are laced with sugar or white flour.
