You can't get the info online. You have to call the office/precinct they work at. They should give you the name. If they don't, try calling your local public defenders office. They can usually match a name to a badge number (many may even know from the top of the heads) If you need the name because you are going to write a complaint or it's needed for a court case, you can subpoena the info.

Oh yeah, I should also mention......if you call the office and they ask you why you want to know? Don't tell them your specific reason. They tend to get too protective. Just say, "From what I understand, this is my right as a citizen and tax payer to have this information." That may piss them off a bit, but it is true!

You can't.. it's so funny where people say "I've got your badge number" most cities use badge numbers mainly as a way to keep the citizens happy... The badge number itself is pretty much worthless. It is the officer's ID number that is much more pertinent and even that is for internal city documents that aren't out there on the web...
You watch too much TV dude.

You can't. If you were a cop would you want every lunatic walking around to be able to find out where you live or anything at all about you.

if you have a complaint file it with the proper authorities and they can determine who the officer is from their badge number.

Call the police department of the city for which the officer works; give the desk sargent the number, and he/she should be able to tell you who the badge belongs to.

Being a police officer, all you have to do is. Know the Police Department he works for, call them and ask who that officer is by giving them their badge number. Since we're required to give you, our badge number name, and department we work for if you ask for it..

No, and surely asking an officer for which will usually piss them off simply by fact it says to them you're attempting to document a grievance against them. in case you unquestionably have something to ***** approximately, the assistance you get from an outline of them, the place and while the incident handed off, might desire to be adequate. As there are in basic terms going to be one in each and every of those super style of officers on accountability at that factor, and one in each and every of those super style of of them at that section. under some circumstances they might supply you that assistance, yet i'm no longer responsive to any requirement for them to realize this. Their badge huge style is on their badge, and customarily they might have their final call seen too.

You can't. That info cannot be researched. If you have a complaint file it with the Dept's Internal Affairs Unit.
