Everyone has some good points so far apart from the duct tape thing (sound a bit to "right at your door" to me).....lol
it was 164 people who died in Asia according to the yahoo report.........
The only thing i would suggest is that if people are thinking of isolating themselves if/when an outbreak is announced then it would be better if they started to stock up on things now rather than at the last minute to allow demand to stay at a minimum during the whole panic stricken stages after the announcement so that supply can cope with this demand and also to allow yourselves to make sure you have everything you need.......maybe even think to yourselves "how long am i prepared to isolate myself?"....."how much of all the necessities am i going to need to sit out this duration?"........everyone needs to ask themselves many questions............
Hope this helps..........

In the grand scheme of things, if bird flu does have a big outbreak in the UK, perhaps a hundred people will die. You're much more likely to die in an auto accident. However, if the virus mutates and becomes transferable from human to human, then you should be worried.

As all those who died of this were in contact with the infected birds your reaction is the usual overreaction that appears normal these days. It is this type of reaction that has lead to the yanks invading countries in the name of freedom. Get a life and stop worrying.

Untill it mutates to a human - human form, you do not need to worry about any outbreak. Unless of course you are a bird farmer or you like rubbing bird faeces in your face. That or doing some unspeakable act with a dead bird....

I agree! That is really scary. I think a lot of us will follow suit. Be sure you look at the expiration dates on cans-maybe start a little bit now. Could be a fierce rush.

it is uncommon. even nevertheless, we are consistently on look ahead to flu epidemics. there is an immunisation programme for the susceptible. it is exceedingly not likely you would be hit on the pinnacle by a pigeon. you does not seize flu from it, besides.
