What year do they start putting blinker lights on side mirrors in trucks?

I had them in a 2003 explorer, but European makers have had them since the 90's. If not in the mirrors then at least on the side so that motorists driving along side could see when they are going to change lanes.

that is not standard but an upgrade option. normally comes with the top of the line package for that make of vehicle.

only Lexus and Benz come standard with lights on the mirrors for the most part.
