how to figure out what to say on the phone.?

When me and my boyfriend talk on the phone we have long awkward silences, how do i figure out what to say to him so that doesn't happen?

btw, i talk to him locked up in my room and i don't have a t.v. in there. i normally just listen to music.

Maybe you guys are spending a long time on the phone that it gets to the point you have no conversation? maybe cutting out a little bit it would help! So you could always have conversations every time you guys talk!

Dont concentrate too much on silence...think of it more as a comfortable silence....its nice sometimes to be soo comfortable with her bf, to the point where you dont always have to be saying something, to not make things werid. we're human, we all have brain farts every so often, and sometimes if you want to break the ice, just be retarded wtih him over the phone....talk about your day, tell him you miss him, you love him, play 21 questions, tell him that you want to learn how to ice skate....ect ect...
excuse my language, but go ahead and talk out of your azz...
because sometimes the funniest things come out and they are the begining of a long and funny conversation.

Just talk about what you usally talk about! If you still have trouble then, sorry to say this, but he may not be the right guy. But if you do still have strong feelings for him, instead of talking in the phone maby email him. It worked with me and my bf. Hope everything works out! Good Luck!!!
