If not, how much would it be to get a wavy perm at the local salons? Do they even do wavy perms?

Just use a regular perm, but use larger perm rollers, and use the instructions that came with the perm. I have found the loreal perms are the best. They don't have a bad smell. You can get them from the drugstore. Probably the larger rollers too.
