Sorry not that any of them are good I was just wondering becuase they seem to both be very nasty PLUS can you have them both at the same time?

yes you can have both, worse to have lupus i guess because potentially life-threatening, but AS would mean a life of constant pain, so i cant really tell you which is worse...

I would have to say that which ever disease you have would be the worst! My brother has Ankylosing Spondylitis and my grandmother died from complications of Lupus... so I agree that they are both very nasty diseases. Although it would be rare, just because of the odds, it would certainly be possible to have them at the same time. My prayers are with those who may happen to have both!!
