your ex girlfriend's best friend needs to sit your ex down if she really really i mean really like you and have a talk with her on this specific topic. she needs to ask your ex if it is ok for her to go out with you, talk to you, be your girl whatever you want to call it. you can even talk to her too if you want about the same thing.she'll probably be a lil mad but if she's over you she'll say its okay considering she probably want the best for her friend.

Hey! You are in the same shoes as me. My current boyfriend right now is actually my ex-boyfriend best friend.
Dont worry about your ex feelings, she will at least get over it. Nobody wants to lose a friendship over a guy that she has no connection with anymore.
It is actually your choice, to choose who you like and make it happen. She is no longer controlling your life nor you are with her. You can do anything you want. Dont worry, best friends wont fight that long, she will soon understand about it.

how long have u been broken up with ur ex? does she hate u 4 breaking up with her? i'd wait at least a month b4 asking the friend out, and an extra week if ur ex hates u 4 breaking up with her. this should show that you're sensitive enough 2 bounce back slowly as if u were sad or sumthing b4 u feel comfortable enough 2 ask another girl out.

I was in this exact situation. I had liked a girl (sara) since freshman year in high school. I didnt know if she felt the same for me so i ended up asking out another girl (lauren). This was really unfair to Lauren because she really liked me and I didnt have as strong of feelings for her, so i broke it off with her. Lauren and Sara are were good friends so i didnt want to ask out Sara right after the breakup so i waited 3 months and asked her out, turns out that Sara had liked me all along. I think you should just go out with this new girl and dont worry about your ex, your happyness comes before hers and besides you broke up so she shouldnt have a problem with you dating. Good luck.

If you want to be a decent guy, even though its weird, send a note or call your ex gf and talk to her about it. Being an up-front guy is best in every situation.

i don't think thats good but if you really like one another jus go for it becuz u feel that she is very important but if the girl isn't willing to do that, she prolly doesn't see it asa long relationship...but thats tough. you both should try telling ur ex that you've been liking each other and in a way ask her for her permission and then if shes cool wit it than go ahead but don't make it sem like u guys are in love with each oter.

Dude, your ex will have to accept it. If her friend doesn't want to ruin the friendship then just forget it. Cause then it causes major drama.. Good luck.
