I'm getting ready for a fresh-juice fast. I want to know what kind of diet to eat the weeks before. Any experienced fasters who know how to eat ahead of time?

ive done it a few times, prepare your stomach by cutting down on the amount of food you eat and eat light things/liquid type thing like soup, milk shakes....the first couple of days are the worst because your stomach is shrinking, (depending on how long you plan on doing it for)

Why are you fasting? How long? Fasting is not good for the body for any length of time because it deprives your system of the nutrients and energy sources it needs. If you're trying to lose weight, then the old thing about eating healthy and exercising is the way to go. Besides, if you fast, you'll just put the weight back after the fast that you lost during the fast. I had to do a 3-day hospital fast for testing and diagnostic reasons, and within a couple of days I was right back to the weight I was beforehand.

you should slowly reduce your intake of food, like eat more fruits and veggies. Reduce the amount slowly and drink only water and cranberry juice until you begin your fast so that your stomach wont have such a devastating effect. Make sure that the cranberry juice is 100% natural juice since cranberry juice and water can be very cleansing when preparing for a fast.

if this is not religious don't do it, it's not good for you and me I know it's not, but if it is one way to do it is by eating less and less everyday, until you just don't feel like eating anymore.
