Well not too much info. Start it up, and press the f10 button. You will have to do a recovery. I had the same problem during a storm and the lights went out. I do not know what happened , but I could not get to a certain point in the computer and it would freeze just after the safe screen.
Anyway, do like me. Just do a recovery, it wipes everything off the computer and reformats it back to factory settings. After this, you may learn to save your files often. lol Also go to ALL PROGRAMS, when you get your computer started. Then go to PC HELP &* TOOLS and it would behoove you to explore the list one by one and learn what you computer can do.

there can be thousands of things happening here
one your power source maybe burn (that only for an excess of electricity or something like that , energy cuts ,etc)
your ram might be damaged.
mothercard can be damaged
if you cant run safemode probably because windows crashed, and it cant recover itself
you can try loggin into BIOS, check everything is in order there
but probably what you will have to do, is reinstall windows, that means loosing all your harddrive info (song, pictures , everything)
ifyou want to save the info you have it done.
