Cannot send MS word documents via fax. When I try to preview my fax it says the document cannot be viewed. Anybody know what I can do?

You must have a FAX modem, then you have to install the FAX component in Add/Remove, Components.

You should get an icon on the desktop for a FAX Console. It needs to be configured. It has a Wizard for that and you will create an address list of FAX numbers.

Create the Word document, File, Print, select FAX as the printer.
A word of caution. If the line is busy and the FAX fails, delete or cancel the FAX from the Console's outbox. This will not delete your document.

On my PC, if a FAX fails, the FAX would sit in the outbox and stay there at Shutdown. Next time I powered on, the FAX would try to go out before Windows was loaded and my PC froze.

When you are ready to FAX again, just open the document and File, Print, FAX.
