I had a bad experience in previous travel to different asian country and was trying to avoid making the same mistake.... please help!!!! some friends were raving about the country but warned about how caucasians are well recieved but not blacks... atleast not yet... :o(

I also travel alot around the world. From my experiences, Asians in Asia are the most racist people towards black people, esp. oriental Asians. Perhaps, the only Asian countries you might have decent experiences are Japan(Tokyo) or Singapore City, otherwsie avoid Asia like a plague if you are black. Westernized or western Asians in places like USA, UK, Ireland, tend to treat black people much better than Asian born Asians.
If you are going to travel to Thailand, go to tourist cities/towns. Avoid small and remote towns. In fact avoid Asia all together if you are black. You're not going to like your experiences unless you are a Hollywood star.

I'm not Thai but I can tell you yes they are.Thai people are very friendly,once u r there,you will see.Good luck!
PS.Thai people have darker skin than other Asian people

don't feel bad that you're black. if you are from a developed country, you are already much richer than they are and hence you will have high social status. don't be afraid to look down your nose at them. they are poor and you are a rich man. :)

i would say thai are the most friendly asian (i'm one myself)
