Great Question and I appreciate your feelings

The root of this problem is in the selfish attitudes and the branches of the problems are spread in various forms, which resembles like low salaries, over population, high prices, attractions of luxuries, bad habits, false prestige ... etc

The root solution lies in promoting Values, Morals and Divine wisdom. As this problem has so deeply spread in todays world, we need to work from different levels and fields in promoting positivity and godly concepts.

Law just won't be enough to control this corruption for the reason that the more laws we put, the more ways people are finding out other ways of corruption and exploitations. Along with Law we need to work on the root causes of negativity. Then only some solution will come.

Thanks that some social and voluntary organisations are putting their best efforts to promote positivity. We and Govt. need to support them to our best. Because in India, people are basically very heartful, devotional and has more emotional feelings than any other country in the world. That is why more than a law, motivation will work better.

Without proportional representation democracy is a farce - In modern democracy multi-party system is there to exist.
But voting in democracies where there is no arrangements for proportional representation of the contenting political parties, the exercise is reduced to a farce! Lets see why.
It is also a universal phenomenon that in most mature democracies around 60% polling of legitimate votes take place.
Now, suppose A, B and C are the contending parties in a constituency. B gets 28% and C 32% then A gets 40% of the votes polled and is declared the winner. But actually A gets 40% of 60% votes or 24% votes only to be the winner! Thus, even if 100-24 = 76% are against or not supporting a candidate he/she can be a winner in our democracy. This thing must change. If the contenders are more even the winner may get lesser votes.
Therefore, there is an urgent need to bring in proportional representation system in Indian democracy.

stand up and question your rights being denied.....i know it's not that easy, but care less about your physical well being. As we all know about the RTI act, all we have to do is to make sure that we practice it whenever its required!
i do understsand the fact that not everyone(including me) is not going to care less about his/her physical well being,
but if you ask for a solution to eliminate corruption, this is the only way in a democratic country, which is also our curse( i believe so)
