The more hair that is cut off means the quicker it will grow back! Plus, now you have removed split ends and damaged hair. Your hair will grow back quickly and more healthy than it was before. In the meantime, eat healthy foods, especially with Vitamin E, to have smooth, beautiful, shiny hair. Nuts, like cashews, peanuts, walnuts, almonds, or peanut butter have a good source of Vitamin E.

Hair grows on the majority of people about 1/2 inch to 1 inch monthly. Taking some types of vitamins might help, like Main and Tail found at your local Walgreen's, but there is no guarantee. Putting silly things on it will NOT make it grow and eating or drinking anything you have listed will NOT contribute to hair growth. Just remember to get it TRIMMED not CUT every 6 to 8 weeks so the ends won't split and really in no time it will get long again. It is really hard to live through the growing out period but you will get through it. I did! When I was a Freshmen in high school I went to get my hair cut just before the school year and my hair was really long, past my shoulders and very pretty, I went to get a TRIM and I came out looking like a boy, I will never forget it. I since then have become a hair stylist and vowed I would never do that to any one! Good Luck, it will grow!!

Having regular trims promotes hair growth in the same way your hair grows back really quickly if you shave. Eating a combination of chili peppers and soybeans is likely to promote hair growth as well.

zinc....

Start popping some zinc (8 milligrams per day is suggested); according to famed dermatologist Dr. Fredric Brandt, zinc stimulates faster and healthier hair growth.
