Talking to yourself involves the left 'nutty-as-squirrel-sh!t' lobe.

For many people there is no difference. Using both the linguistic and the visual is a better mix. Some people only use pictures. Consideration, association, reflection. Probably missing other things like the audio and the olfactory elements, mathematic matrix etc. but I think those who only think in a linear one dimensional sentence form are children who have grown up too quickly.

Thinking process is you are deciding on what to do for a particular situation or some memory of yours.

Internal dialogue is you are having with God's spirit who tells you to do what is right or the evil one who tempts you to do what is wrong which is usually very attractive.

So its what you think will get you near God or to the devil.

Its good to go.
