Never use metal utensils on such cookware. Always use wooden utensils. You will release the chemicals that are in the cookware, into your food.

The surface of anodized aluminum is quite soft and will scratch easily. Modern teflon like coatings are harder than anodized coatings. Pick a spot on the anodized aluminum that is inconspicuous and scratch it with a tine of a fork -- will scratch.

Yes
The electrochemical process of anodizing transforms aluminum into a nonreactive, scratch- and stick-resistant surface. You don't have to worry about metal utensils scraping this surface, as you would with a nonstick pan.

I have a really nice stainless steel set and I LOVE it. They have copper on the bottom of the pots. It's made by REVERE brand, I googled it to find you a link, but can't find my exact set. Mine has clear glass lids and it's not the non-stick set. It's not as good as a non-stick pot when it comes to making eggs or grilled cheese sandwiches, but other than that they are wonderful. So if you go with stainless -steel then you should buy an additional medium sized non-stick frying pan. They are very easy to keep clean, they always look nice and I like to use metal utensils on them. Another thing that may be helpful to you...it is good to have a set of glass baking pans as well as metal. They cook things differently. For example, I only make lasagna and casseroles in my glass pans, but cakes come out un-even and awful in them, so metal is better for those.

Even though it may be scratch "resistant", it will scratch. Anodizing does put a hard surface on aluminum but it's not "Hard" anodize. Anodizing deposits less then a mil thickness of protective coating

I wouldn't it's expensive stuff and metal will scratch it. Try the high temp silicone utensils.
