Bibles are not considered to be blessed items, but it can feel a little awkward to just throw the Word of God in the trash. If you can't donate them to a charitable or non-profit organization, then you can throw them out without guilt.

Why don't you donate them to a church? That way you could put them to good use, not fill the landfill with them. You could also give them to the Salvation Army, Goodwill.. Bibles are always in demand. #1 Book stolen from Christian Book Stores and I think #4 on Book Stores..

I have a great suggestion- Read one of the copies with an open heart and you will find that God really does exist and that He loves you, and then give them to people so they too can find His grace. No matter how you get "rid" of the bible , the words will never die, because there are life in those words, because they are truth.

As long as the Bibles have not been blessed by a Priest you are allowed to dispose of them as you would any other trash (but not in an actively derogatory way). If they have been blessed by a Priest then you must either burn or bury them where they won't be disturbed.

hand them out at school
give some to an old folk home
put a chocolate on each to 'sweeten the deal' and hand em out to your neighbors for Valentines Day

I dont have any trouble finding people who want Bibles

Donate them to your church. I'm sure they could use them for a missionary trip or an outreach program of some kind. There are lots of people out there who need Bibles!

first, I would change your nickname. Some people may conclude from your nickname that you are uneducated.

Second, don't throw away the Bibles or bury them. I would donate them to a Christian organization that could use them. There are plenty of uses for them.

Third, please capitalize Bible from now on or some people may conclude the same as step one.

Thanks!

Give these copies to people who need them.Or you can give them to the Church or to religious organizations to make benefit out of these copies by their own ways. I believe God is giving you this mission of spreading His word to those in need. Good Luck in your mission.

Give them to people who could use them. whether or not you have the same beliefs as others never gives you the right to be disrepectful to another human being.

I think it can be buried....its kinda like the flag you can't just chuck it....what if you go to hell or something...If you're going to go to hell then it better be for something good not throwing out bibles.
Call your local orphanage, woman's shelter, call your local churches and tell them you wish to "donate" them.
