if religion is to stay here in earth for good, then philosophy also come along with it, and creating sorts of knowledge and opposition

We are of split mind. The part that believes itself to be separated from God (EGO) and the part that remembers the oneness. (The Holy spirit) These parts will always be in opposition. Until we remember that the separation never happened making one an illusion and one a reality.

Opposition is the base for democracy and free thinking.

Probably, and I find the thought somewhat depressing. One might hope that the race will one day outgrow its desire for religion, but it is obvious that that will not occur anytime soon.
