why does chocolate make ppl hyper??

my friend, Gabby, was really quiet, all most asleep like 2 minutes ago..i gave her chocolate and now she's screaming, and laughing, an d making weird noises. SHE'S HYSTERICAL!! my question is why is she doin this?
