If you want this guy to know you exist check your circumstances-Do you both have the same interests? Same classes or something? If they're suitable then you should talk to him more. If they're not then do something to make them suitable.
But don't change your personality for a guy. That may be the worst thing that you'll do for a guy that doesn't know you exist. If you do, and the guy notices you, and starts liking you, it's not real chemistry. The best thing to do is just forget about it. Although that's a little hard.
I believe that there's a person for everyone. Just wait.

My advice on that is that you are probably more attracted to his looks and the way he interacts with other people. Unless and until you interact with him you will never know if you REALLY like him or not, because he may treat you awful, or wonderful.
