is it wrong to want some things in life at my age...(19)....
since i was 17 i told myself that i was going to set goals for myself and what i wanted in life... and they are:

a girl to love, cherish, protect, and hold in my arms for ever

to be loved in return and to be happy

to make my girl happy no matter what it takes, to show her that shes loved and she is never alone

a family to give my everythng to and protect with my life
to only care about them and to make them happy.

theirs so much more i could put here about this but that is the basic of the ONLY THING I WANT IN MY LIFE

I don't see anything wrong with that.. Sounds like you have your mind made up. Not many young man your age even know what they want out of themselves. Like what their major in college will be. So if you ask me.. your much better off then others. Just figure, the first girl you meet mights not be the very best. Keep testing the waters till you find the right one.

I would like to say that, for one a teenager that feels that way is totally a gentle man, And that i don't disagree at all about how you feel, that it is very atractive to ladies,That a man can stand up & take care of his lady. >:

About a family, If you mean start a family?
I would not agree with you at all, At the age 19.
But, if you meant in the future after you are a grown man,Then i would say that you have your priorities in order.
Do you have a job or career? Anything to fall back on?
If you do at the age of 19 yrs, I would say you have your priorities straight... and good for you. If not, then find the girl you can love
cherish and protect. don`t forget Respect her. get those priorities
in order first. then maybe an engagement would be a start or begining. i hpoe this helped alittle, or alot. good luck!

They say that the best things in life aren't "things"... And you've got a lot of those "un-things" here!

You sound surprisingly mature for a mere 19 years. When I was 19, my list of "things I want to have/do" was pretty much the same, but I'm a girl, and at least where I was raised, we thought about that kind of thing a lot more. It seemed the guys my age were much more interested in money, school, or cars.... Although money would be useful in what you want to achieve. (Remember- money is a TOOL, ideally- just a means to an end....)

I think you've got your head on straight. Keep at it. Respect girls/women you come in contact with, and eventually one that is worth your time will respond to you.

I love this statement, and no u r not wrong..... If all men thought like you.....

I feel the same way u do... But I am waiting for Mr Right to come to me....

Patience is the Key....I dont think its wrong for u to set goals, that only means that u wont settle for less in life no matter what.
We all have standards and goals in life ..

Everyone deserves to be happy in every way....

I don't think it's wrong, but think of things this way.....
it's good that you want to share your love with a special lady, but there is so much more stuff you should be thinking about...like your own personal interests in life, like a future career and things of that nature...and then the perfect girl will fall into place

there's absolutely nothing wrong about this..it's good that you think maturely compared to most people..you know what you want and you know what is essential in life..with these plans, you make a lot of people happy and make them realize that these are the only things in life that are important..not the money, fame and other material objects make you a good person..

Goals are good.
What are you doing to help achieve them?
Are you a happy person?
Are you on a career path that with satisfy you spiritually and financially?
Are you socializing in places where you are likely to find someone with similar ideals to your own?

Good Luck!
