Every major airport has car rental centers at or near the terminal. They all provide a free shuttle, usually with the name of the company on the bus. These shuttles will bring you to the rental center. Best bet is to pre-book your car ahead of time. After picking up your luggage generally you will see signs of the specific car rental place in the terminal. If not, just ask.
FYI... if you do get on a shuttle, and someone helps you get your luggage on the bus, be sure to tip them a dollar or two. And by all means, ask them any questions you may have before you stop. They deal with tourist all the time and can be incredibly informative.

Most rental car booths are located right in the airport terminal; but you may have to take a shuttle to get to the rental lot. You will be directed how to do so.
However, get on the NET, find the least expensive price you can (Alamo, Budget, Enterprise, etc.) and RESERVE a car as soon as you can. This will make sure that you won't have to run around trying to find a car upon your arrival on a busy day. This will also speed up your check out for a car. On a busy day, you may have to wait hours without a reservation.

They reject it because they see it as a claim that supports evolutionary biology, and while this is in a way true (in the sense that all scientific knowledge builds on what has come before), understanding and accepting that humans are animals doesn't mean one has to accept evolutionary biology. The man who first classified humans as animals was Swedish taxonomist Carl Linnae (or Carolus Linnaeus, as some jokingly called him) who pioneered the Linnaean system of classification and nomenclature that biologists still use today. Linnae died long before Charles Darwin was even born, and was a Christian, and a creationist essentially by default (though whether he believed in a young Earth is open to debate). The fact is that there simply is not sufficient data to suggest that humans are anything other than a particularly smart species of animal, and there's no shame in that.

Depends on the airport. In San Diego you take a shuttle to the car agency, in Savannah the car agency is there at the hotel. Look for the website for the airport you are flying into to be certain.

Sometimes it's at the terminal, and you do everything righ t there. They hand you your keys and tell you where to find your car.
Sometimes they pick you up with a shuttle bus and give you a ride to the rental place.
Tip: Sometimes the off-site ones are the best deals...the ones in the airports will often be taxed extra ("AIRPORT FACILITIES TAX").

Almost all airports have either a rent-a-car desk, or phones that are marked for rentals. They usually have a bus to take you to their rental car location, right in the area of the airport (but it just might be a little too far to walk).
Enjoy flying !!!

when you get off the plane, there will be signs everywhere telling you were to go if you want to rent a car. Just follow the signs and they will take you to it. If you still can't find it, just ask anyone in uniform.
