My family and I are moving to Romania in March/April. Since everything is already taken care of house, job, schools ect.... My main concern is for our two daughters ages 11 and 6. We are a tightknit family and they are having a hard time leaving family behind. I am hoping for some advice on making things easier for them. I have journals, boxes being shipped and Skype. So any ideas as to how to make this easier for them and me as well would be apreicated.

You are doing everything right.
It will be tough on your kids (and on you) for a while, but with the resources and support you're giving them, they will be fine. I work in an international school with lots of kids who have moved away from their birthplace, and they are often the most well-adjusted, open-minded and mature young people you could meet. You're giving them amazing opportunities too - to experience another culture first-hand, to travel to fascinating places, meet new friends as well as keeping their old ones, and giving them confidence and independence.
Your children are very lucky to have parents as caring as you.
I wish you all the very best of luck in Romania.

How about making sure they have e-mail so they can keep in touch with the family. Ask your family members to write a letter to your children and even one for you, then hold them until you get moved. It will give all of you something to look forward to. Phone cards from walmart also are a good idea so the children can call family back home. Money can be put on it as needed even from a credit card out of the country.

You might want to get them some cameras to document friends, family and places they'll want to remember.

A way to keep addresses so they can stay in touch might be a good thing, too. You might need to help the 6 year old but for the 11 year old either pick out an address book together or maybe get a plain t-shirt or one of the signature animals (commonly used for graduations) and have her get her friend's and family's information.

My advice is for you to leave America as soon as possible. The fewer liberals we have here the better America will be. Thanks for going, and don't forget to renounce your citizenship.
