It's not bad but it's not good either. The tea part should be good, since green tea is know to be good for your health, but they usually add a lot of sweetener to the tea for boba. That stuff is just lots of calories. If you're not worried about calories, then it shouldn't be bad. Those balls are made of starchy material.

the boba is tapioca, a starch usually derived from cassava root. consider them empty calories and if you are watching your caloric intake then you should ask them to cut the amount they put in. a drink can be 500-1000 calories depending on how much they put in and what you are drinking. each boba is estimated to be between 7 and 15 calories each. i say everything in moderation so you should be fine.

Boba pearls are made from natural sources, but it's the preservatives that factories in China might be using that should be of concern. An aunt of mine mentioned hearing news stories about this issue in the Chinese media. I don't have a source for you, but I have started to eat them less.

No. The balls are tapioca pearls, and they're great if you're on a diet or trying to cut down on consumption. They make you feel pretty full for a good while.

The "little balls" are tapioca (derived from cassava roots), are very good food. As for the drink, it's sweet and tasty...unless you are an uncontrolled diabetic, I can't imagine how it could be bad for you...Good LUck!

They are tapioca balls. probably no real nutritional value.. But too much of anything isn't good. Just eat/drink in moderation.
