Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. Buddhists do not worship a supernatural god, so I can't see any conflict.

Catholicism is incompatible with Buddhism. At the basic level that can be seen by the fact that Buddhist don't believe in a deity while Catholics believe in God. That doesn't mean that Buddhists don't have some good practices and beliefs. Only that when beliefs contradict each other we must believe on the side of the Church.

Scary how some are still think Buddhism worships Buddha as a God. It really scares me how little research some people do before the get brainwashed, or after for that matter.

Because Buddhism does not recognize and acknowledge the diety of Jesus Christ as the only Son of God, as our Savior and Lord, yes, it is wrong for a Catholic to agree with that philosophy. You'd first have to renounce Christianity to do that. Because Catholicism is a form of Christianity, you can't have both. You must choose. As Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters." Make your choice, but don't waffle on the fence. Remember Jesus also said He was the only way to the Father.

Buddhism is an atheistic religion and has many doctrines that are in opposition with Christianity.
The most important difference is that while Buddhism does not even believe in God, in Christianity, God is supposed to be the center of our lives.
As Jesus taught us:
"You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment." (Matthew 22:37)
With love in Christ.

Considering that Catholicism acknowledges one God in three persons, and Buddhism acknowledges no god at all, I'd say that you really could not do that which you're asking. If you believe in Buddhism, then you are very much not a Catholic any more.

It is wrong with him who thinks that Christ is God.
It is right with him who independently studies the Bible to realize that Christ is equally a Manifestation of the One True God like Buddha, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah and many other Manifestations from eternity to eternity to raise mankind to an ever-advancing civilization. Moses had announced that Christ would come; then Christ said that He would return or another Saviour (the Comforter, the Paraclete) would come. The eternal God cannot leave mankind alone before and after Christ.

Buddhism is not, and does not claim to be a religion. The Buddha statues are not worshipped per se, they are symbols to remind them of Sidhartha's teachings about peace and harmony and the path to enlightenment. - Some Buddhists are also Christians, because Jesus and Sidhartha, and Confucious and Ghandi, and your grandmother all taught the same things to lead you into a harmony-loving life.
