1.He used to be kinda mean to me but in a playful way... But now he's really really nice to me and called me a nice person
2.He asked me who I liked once and I asked why but somehow he avoided my question
3.Recently I think he was flirting with me... And I flirted back...
4.But what makes me unsure is that there are rumors going around that he likes another girl, and sometimes I see him talking to her and once he stole something of hers and asked her if she was missing anything
5.I like him. If I didn't I wouldn't be doing this.
I just want to know your opinions.

that same thing happened to me. he was all flirty with u and passing you notes and stuff but hey rumors are rumors ppl just start them 4 the fun of it. NO boy would just walk up to u and start flirting with u if he didnt like you. And if he stole something from that other girls locker isnt that a sign he doesnt like her? i mean what girl would like something stolen? Look this is what i did i got his phone number after i heard the rumor and text him that day we talked about secrets and nice stuff. thats how u can tell if a boy likes you.

Im getting the vibe that he does. Its natural to like more than one person at a time though. So even if he does like that other girl, he could possibly like you too. Remember, boys during the teenager age are super flirtacious. If you really want to pursue a relationship with him, then I would suggest swapping numbers or something. If u dont want to swap numbers than invite him to something. If you are nervous, just ask casually. Maybe talk about the fair..and be like hey we should go together with some friends! Or talk about some new movies and just casually be like, I wanna watch that so bad too! We should go together! Anything like that.That way it gives u an opportunity to learn more about eachother since ur hanging out more and then you guys can see if u still have some chemistry and would want to go further.

Well it sounds like this guy you like is a playa playa.You need to give it time and approach things slowly.Piece together clues that he throws at you.For example; if he "plays" with you in a jerk way.That means he's interested and is hoping you'll do the other side of the job of keeping him interested.
