Any referrals would be great here, I just don't want to end up working for a company that has a hidden agenda. I'd prefer to work with kids ages 10+, if possible. Any information would be great, either success stories or nightmare stories. Thanks.

Hello, I've been in Korea for about 3 years now and I can recommend schools you should avoid. Avoid all CDI schools. As for teaching without a degree, I'm pretty sure you need one to be legal, but I do know a few people who are still able to find jobs here. Check out the following sites for job listings.

I hope this helps.

It can be bad news.
As far as I know if you have diploma not a degree then you can't work legally.

Funny huh?

Maybe it has been changed by now? Ask to foreign immigration dept center.

Work for LTRC in Seoul or Berlitz. Other schools have horrible reputations for ripping off teachers.

Another option would be to go to Japan. There you'll get better wrok condiditons.
