id say japan. been to tokyo few days ago, and i was amazed by the huge variety of beverages they have.from plain water to fruit mixed beer, they have everything. 0 carb coffee , low carb milkshake, juices from every possible fruit.they do have it all.

Easy way to answer this question is to look at which country has the highest percentage of overweight and obese people. This should give you a fairly good estimate on the proliferation of sodas and related over sugared, over cafinated, over artificial flavoured and over chemically ladened drinks.

I would say the U.S, since there are a lot of specialty and ethnic stores other than the standard U.S. markets that offer sodas targeted to Hispanic cultures, Italian and German cultures, etc., not to mention smaller soda companies and micro-brewers ( example, Jones's) .

I think that usa would, because sometimes you learn of new brands everyday like i learned that there was such thing as cream soda mmmmm.....

India....it has all the world soda companies--Coca Cola, Pepsi-- and yet it has Indian sodas--Thumbs up, and etc.
