Ok we broke up after dating for 6 years last Sunday. Now she calls me more then ever and acts like were together. When we broke up she said she hope ill take her back that she doesn't know why she feels upset around me but she has to do something. Ok we talked all week, but she called me every time. Last night i went to a bar met a few chicks but didn't hook up at all. She called me all last night and left me texts but i didn't answer, they said i really need you please call. Now today she accused me of hooking up with chicks even though were broken up i said to her we have been getting along as friends and i am very happy with the situation she cried and said you don't want to get back together i said no not now.
I ask her aren't you happier she said sadder. I said that sucks, then she told me shes not happy with anything in her life and that she thinks she is depressed. I think she see that i am moving away from her so shes trying to get me back on the string. What do you think?

If shes messing with me why do you think so, for what reason, i know you don't KNOW but just an opinion. She has always been a great girl to me she pretty but i am definitely the better looking one in the relationship so i know its not attractiveness. But i am want to walk away and she keeps pulling me back in.

I would think that your best bet is to cut her out of your life all together. It gives her hope when you talk to her. Let her see you guys are no longer together. She has no choice to accept it. It sounds like she might be obsessed too! When you guys broke up I'm sure u both that it would be best. You're good with the situation now and obviously, she isn't. I don't think you want to backwards in your life. I would think you would want to go forward. She is going to have to realize. If down the road you go back her, great. If not, then.......... Ya know, I was with a guy for about 6 years and he broke up with me by not calling or anything until 3 months later. I found out and was glad my mom was around. I went to my mom and cried. But, never would ask to get him back. I just let it be and later did my best to be happy and move on. I hope this was helpful!

Try to support her as a friend.
She's obviously still very attached and you don't want to completely crush her feelings.
I've just gone through a break-up like this (and we kind of ended up back together. Kind of. It's complicated).
In any case, I think I know how she feels. She's lonely, she misses you, and she'll do (just about) anything to fill the void that you left.
While you may not want to get back together with her, try and stay friends- or at least be aware that if she feels as though she's depressed, she might take some drastic action.
While you may not want to date her anymore, you should hopefully still care about her well-being.
Try to get her help and lend her support where she needs it.
Just be sure not to lead her on; be clear that you aren't looking to head back into the relationship that you once had.
Good luck.

I think if you care about her and still love her, then you need to stop playing games with her and work this out. You guys have a long history and it appears that it wasnt a bad break up.
Sometimes people dont rtealize what they have till its gone.
Maybe this is what she is feeling. Maybe she feels its a mistake to split.
If you still care for her, give it another shot. If you are happier without her and looking to hook up, then let her go.
But, 6 years is a long time to just throw away.
I would do some serious thinking about it before i allowed my stubborness to interfere.
Good luck.

Breaking up really sucks. and usually it's one person who wants out more than the other. Sounds like you're that person. So...now that it's happened, you're ready to see what life is like and she's scared. When trying to decide whether or not to go back, I always ask myself - has the reason for the breakup disappeared? You need to do what's right for you, not her. If you need to be out, and know you're happier, then that's what you need to do. And yes, she is trying to get you back. Probably hurt that you're not hurting as much. Let her down easy, tell her how much she meant to you and now you're ready to move on.

Maybe something is wrong with her. Talk to her, and find out whats wrong. Whyd she break up with you? What was the reason. Maybe the fact of thinkin she could really lose you made her see that she wants to be with you. If shes accusing you, say maybe your right we shoulda broke up. If you dont believe what i tell you.

Oh, wow! My husband had that problem with the last girl he dated before we got married. You just have to hang tough. You can be firm without being mean. It's not your fault she is unhappy and you going back to her won't change a thing.

Maybe you should talk to her, calmly tell her that it is over and she needs to move on, like you did. poor dude... sorry about that. :(

This I can answer! I had a very similar experience. She's so used to being with you and being yours that she is having a hard time getting over you. That's it, in a nutshell.

She sounds insecure. It sounds like you are happier since you two broke up . Let her stew in her brew. She will move on.

Yep,.... sounds like you are right.... she needs to grow up a little and learn how to be on her own..... as you do as well... becareful what you say, she sounds like she can get a little crazy on ya. It will all change for her as soon as someone starts paying attention to her.
