phobia....?

i kno people look at u everyday.. but is there a phobia for bein scared of bein looked at..........

sadly yes and theres one where you're afraid of complete strangers judging you and the people you're with. i don't know what they're called but you could probably look something up on goolgle

As a mental health practitoner with 20+ years experience, now retired, I'd say your "phobia" is more of a paranoia. It doesn't mean that it's a "full blown" paranoia, but it can be a Paranoid Personality Disorder, or Paranoid Personality Trait as diagnosed by the American Psychiatric Association in their Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders. But then, hearing only that much of an issue, I would be unwilling to give a diagnosis of any kind until I heard much more. God Bless you.

maybe it´s social phobia? it probably comes from being self-conscious and wanting to be "invisible" so other people can´t see that you are not pretty/smart/etc enough.
It´d proabbly be of great help to talk to a therapist about this. You don´t have to live this way forever.

My husband's niece hates to be stared at. So of course we do it on purpose. It isn't like a real phobia though..we just do it so she will yell at us. Yes there is a phobia with that I think...

i beleive there is.i freakin hate it. i panic right out when i see someone staring at me.
i dont know what it is, but i understand what you are saying, thats another reason why somedays i just isolate myself from everyone.
and just not talk to no one. i know it sounds insane but there are people who do feel this way
