The thing to remember is, cocoa is the equivalent of unsweetened baking chocolate. It is bitter, so the sugar balances it out. If you use the semi-sweet, you may end up with no-bakes that are too sweet. If you're going to try it (it's always worth a try) I'd try the unsweetened squares instead. Make sure to check your conversion on amounts, and you'll probably want to melt the squares a little in the microwave first (so they'll blend in better).

hmm, the semi sweet chocolate (really some of the chocolate bars sold as candy are semi-sweet--most are milk in the US, but depends on where you're looking.) Semi sweet chocolate is the cocoa powder with plenty of extras. Wouldn't hurt anything to try it, however, you may just want to find an alternative no bake cookie that uses semi sweet chocolate. Link has plenty of options.

I really doubt it would work.....the wax or parafin in the cooking chocolate would probably affect the setting of the cookies....but you can always try....
My daughter makes about the best no bake cookies I have every eaten.....until recently...and all of a sudden they would not get hard.....they were gooey and she didn't think she had done anything different....until last week....she realized she had switched from Jif peanut butter to the store brand at Walmart....she went back to Jif and once again her cookies are beyond perfection.....No bake cookies have an attitude...if it is wet outside, it can affect them, too.....

You just need to adjust the butter. One square of baking chocolate is equivilant to 3 tblsp of cocoa and 1 tblsp butter. The texture will be a bit different but will be yummy all the same. Just follow the conversion from cocoa to chocolate and you're set. Enjoy!

Give it a try with a small amount. If it works, do the rest.
