I used to be in the same boat as you. Get the crystal light packets... they'll turn the water into lemonade, but you're still drinking that much water. Another option would be (if you like soda) would be to try this kinda carbonated water. I tried it and didn't find out until later that it wasn't really soda but just carbonated water. There's no calories, no sugar, but it tastes like sprite, or orange soda (depending on the flavor you get) I get mine at Wal*Mart and it's called "Sam's Choice Clear American" it's really cheap too! About 50 cents for a Liter! Good and good for you!
Other then that try different types of flavored water, make sure to look at the back and make sure that it's flavored water, and not just some watered down juice.
Good luck and take care!

Most liquids have a very high percentage of water.
if you're concerned about your health.
Do not drink sodas.
Milk is good. maybe stay away from whole fat milk.
Most juices are just sugar water as well. Sports drinks like gatorade aren't particularly good for you either. They tend to be very high in sugars and calories.
Don't drink energy drinks.
The only juice I'd trust is usually orange juice but not sunny D or any juice from concentrate. Fresh squeezed.
Don't drink things that are very high in sugar they can also agravate dehydration. Definately do not drink things with caffeine or alcohol both of these things can aggravate dehydration and just plain make your body do weird stuff. Which is why after drinking these things generally you still feel thirsty.
Also, guarana is caffeine!!!!!
but you can live a happy hydrated life without feeling water-logged everyday.
aspartame not only gives drinks a disguting aftertase. but there is proof that it causes cancer, probably exaggerated, but anyway avoid drinks with it.

Have you tried getting a water filter? It helped me enjoy my water more because I hated all the things they were adding to the city water. You might try drinking only sips, spaced through-out the day so that it's not so unpleasant for you as drinking a whole glass at a time might be

water is not only good for helping your body digest your food better , but it also helps your skin look healthier. if you drink a glass of water before your meals you will not eat as much, also if you drink a glass of water between cocktails you will not drink as much so it also helps you lose some weight while you are at it. i love crystal light peach tea and the pink grapefruit in the morning. Just keep it up and you will see the difference.good luck

You can get water from lots of sources, although a glass of water is the most obvious. Try flavoured bottled water, which often comes with a touch of fruit. Tastier.
Food contains about 20% of the water you need. Do what I do and try to avoid sugar in your diet (few sweet things, no sugar in tea) and drink lots of carbonated, sugary drinks. Coca-Cola is merely water + sugar. And everyone likes drinking it!!!

If you get bored with plain water, add a bit of lemon or lime for a touch of flavor. There are some brands of flavored water available, but some of them have sugar or artificial sweeteners which you don't need.

The best way is if you're addicted to soda pop then buy Pellegrino because it is fizzy and carbonated and has flavor, but it is still water. It is better for you than flavored water, too.

You're sort of on the right track with the Crystal Light. You may want to put something in it (slice of lemon, orange, ice, etc) to improve its taste and its asthetics.

First thing is to get yourself to drink it. Experiment to find what you like best- with ice, without ice, room temperature, cold, etc. Everyone's different. ( Personally, I like mine filtered, very cold, and without ice.) Then, learn to trust your body; when you REALLY feel thirsty, choose the water- steer away from the flavored drinks and coffee. Your body will learn to equate "thirsty" with "water", and you will soon be on your way.
