Wow I am shocked at how many people told you to leave Chandler and go to another city. If you are in on business (you are most likely renting a car and probably have to be back to your hotel to get some sleep for these conferences.)
I sugguest hitting up the local Chandler nightlife. 1st go to Z-Teja's for dinner and a drink - they have beautiful bartenders and they can pour some mean drinks!
Z-Tejas is located off the I-10 freeway and Ray Road.
The next thing I would do then would be go to the casino. They just built a awesome casino real close to where you will be, Wild Horse Pass. this is located off the 1-10 freeway and Wild Horse Pass Exit. The gambling is good, especially if you like blackjack!
If you are leaving the 9th I would definately make sure your last round in chandler you stop in BJ Brewery (awesome time and awesome brews!) Buffalo Wild Wings (eat some damn wings and check out the view) R.T.O'Sullivans (drink some more, feel irish and meet some neat people!)
Besides all that drinking, eating and gambling there are really some neat things to do out here in Arizona.
If you do find yourself bored with the above try a comedy club.
The Improv is the best its located off the 101 freeway and university just east of mill ave. Great comedy pro and 1st timers.
Don't forget (if your the type) Arizona also has great outlet stores and malls.
Good luck on your trip and I hope you truely enjoy Arizona!

There are definitely plenty of restaurants in Chandler near the Chandler Fasion Center - Cheesecake Factory, Shabu Fondue, Redfish, etc...but if you would like nightlife (and you appear to be a business person), I'd suggest going into Old Town Scottsdale (about 15-20 min from Chandler) and going to the nightclubs and bars over there: Axis/Radius, Myst, Suede, The Pussycat Lounge, Jackrabbit and e4 to name a few. If you want to get a few drinks, I'd also suggest the Devil's Martini in Old Town. It's very laid back yet really nice and the scenery is great. Mill Ave is a huge college town and if you're still that young, then you can go there, they are all bars and you can wear jeans and t-shirts. But I'd highly suggest Old Town. There are also plenty of restaurants in Old Town: Bandera's, Grimaldis, Stingray, Cafe Forte, Furio and Ra just to name a few. If you want a casino you can go to Casino Arizona which is located off the 101 and McKellips - that's about 15 min from Chandler.
Anyway, hope this helps.

Well If you want to Gamble in Chandler there is this Casino.
South of Chandler Blvd. On 56th street. And if you want the faster night life. Head for Capital grille for dinner you will find one in several great night spots of scottsdale and phoenix. By the time you have had dinner at the Capital grille you will know where the best after dinner drink will be at.

Well, for starters, get out of Chandler. There are some cool things to see there, but the nightlife, good restaurants, coffee shops, etc. are found on Mill Ave. in Tempe, one of the classiest, busiest, and most fun shopping & dining districts I've ever seen on a college campus. (ASU--go Sundevils!--is located in the heart of all of it.)
Try RA for great sushi, Coffee Plantation for coffee and eye candy, and you'll have numerous choices for an after-dinner cocktail in a fun environment.
One of the best resources for things to do (from morning to night, including casinos, concerts, etc.) is the Tempe CVB (Convention & Visitors Bureau). You can reach them at 800-283-6734 (from the US or Canada). My mom works there. Tell whoever answers that 'the Dude' sent you. But, they'll take good care of you, even if you don't say that!

If you have a car, go to Scottsdale. There is little to do in Chandler, but Scottsdale has a lot of very good restuarants and bars. Very active nightlife. I always stay in Scottsdale when I go to the area, even though I usually am working on the other side of town.

Chandler's a great city, but doesn't have a lot in the evening. Fortunately, everthing else is pretty close. Here's a good link to entertainment all over this beautiful valley of the sun.

They beat 6 cupcakes, ok no longer the Spurs, yet they were suffering on the instantaneous any strategies. yet yeah it variety of feels that spurs sport provide them self assurance, and with Lakers injuried and suffering, Suns can extremely creep up and retake that excellent spot. Amare has been huge considering Shaq were given there.
