I work for a brand new company that wants to focus on its environmental responsibility. What can employees, management etc. do? (And yes, we do recycle!)

My co worker and I carpool. We trade driving every other week. We would like to save more gas money by inviting a couple more people but do not know who would be interested and works the same hours. If the company had someone to coordinate this it would be great.

You could start by contacting the US environmental protection agency (EPA) and/or your State's OSHA and ask them to send you their free brochures that would be pertinent to your company's business, size and local; and take it from there.
