You can use hair spray or a light cream to moisturize the hair, that way it won't be so staticky

Try using a lightweight conditioner like Dove. I'm in MN and it works great. You can also spray a little Static Guard on your hair brush and brush through your hair after it's dry. I haven't tried a dryer sheet, but I know they work for other things, so why not try it?!

I have a hair dryer that has an anti-static button on it. It really helps (so does Biolage spray-on "milk" after your shower and before drying). If you are caught in a static-emergency, rub some unscented hand lotion (such as cetaphil) into your hands, but leave a lot of excess, and gently smooth down your hair with it, then comb hth

VO5 hair conditioning cream, comes in like a toothpaste tube. Just squeeze out about 1/8 inch rub your hands together to get it to your body temp. then stroke your hands over your hair a few times. It is about the consistency of vaseline, so a LITTLE goes a LONG WAY. The advantages of this product is IT GIVES INCREDIBLE shine to hair, won't be greasy unless you use too much, so the thinner your hair the less you use.

I keep a dryer sheet in my purse, no kidding. I have long straight hair it it flys all around sometimes. Just hold the dryer sheet and run it over your hair. Its stops the static annd leaves your hair with a fresh clean scent or you can buy fragrance free ones if you dont like the smell. It really works!!!

You know those dryer sheets that we use for drying clothes? They work great if you run them down your hair to control static. Also, if you clothes (i.e. pants) are staticky, all you have to do is run a sheet up & down to get rid of it.

There are some very good light conditioners - try something from Bumble & Bumble. I like their Alojoba shampoo and conditioner. Then there's always pomade. How about defrizzers - like Frizz Ease??

If you don't use regular conditioner when you shampoo, try a leave-in spray conditioner. It's a really light spray and it helps hair stay down, and if you want, try a light hairspray to keep hair in place. I use Dove products because they are light and don't leave your hair sticky and weighed down.
