It will grow back thicker, longer, and darker. I recommend using a bleaching solution, like Jolen.

When you wax any type of hair, the hair is taken straight from the hair follicle....it does not grow back in darker.. You cannot change the color of your hair by waxing it out..Just like you cannot change the structure of the hair making it come in thickre or thinner (though after some time you will retard the follicle by doing this, thus making it appear thinner since theres less hair each time you wax as the follicles fail one by one)When you shave, you are blunting off that hair, (you've taken the fine end of the hair off and made it cut it straight across) when the hair begins to grow back within a day, usually, it feels all stubbly. Blunting off the hair will make it appear darker and to feel course. When you wax your eye brows, the hair doesn't come back darker.
When you wax, what you're trying to do is to eventually retard the growth of the hair so you won't need to do this anymore. When taking it out from the root or follicle, it takes alot longer to grow back than if you blunted it off at the surface of the skin.
I think your best bet is to wax if it's dark and bothersome.
If it's light and you really need to look closely to see it, then leave it.
If you choose to wax, put a dab of wax on an inconspicuous spot to be sure you're not allergic. One of my clients had her eye brows waxed last week and had an allergic reaction to the wax and broke out in a rash all around her eyes! Thank God, that's the only part of her body that she had waxed!! YIKES!!
Good luck in whatever you do!

Waxing facial hair will give your make-up a smoother finish and I think you feel more confident knowing that hair is gone. Even if only temporarily. If you continue to wax (eyebrows, upper lip, chin, etc.) eventually the hair will become lighter and finer and could even stop growing. It's not common, but does happen. Just be careful when waxing as you can cause permanent damage to hair follicles and tear the skin if you're not waxing properly. And, keep in mind that hair, anywhere on your body, is protecting your skin so you don't necessarily want to remove all of it.

If you wax, that hurts by the way!, then the hair would grow back with more hair in it's army. Fight without waxing. Just apply your makeup without removing the hair.

I have and it didn't come back thicker....yet, but it did come back darker. I would reccomend bleaching instead, I dont know about the makeup issue but if your concerned about ppl seein the lil hairs, bleach them. That way you dont run the risk of a mustach in 10 years. Once you start waxing you can never stop unless you get laser hair removal and thats spendy

Yes if you wax it they will grow more and thicker, i think it is better if you leave it, little hairs is essential for the human body, it protects you specially your face, if you remove the hairs you wont see it now but you will weakened your face skin and after that you will look just damage your skin.

i have waxed my lip myself,....ouch
the hair did not look thicker but, my skin was irritated and red for quite a while, i don't know if professionally would have worked out better
i use a depilatory instead, one for sensitive skin, i believe you can buy one that works on the whole face

Wax them ,. because waxing eliminates and grabs the hair roots and then those hairs which roots are grabbed will NOT come back,. I know from expierience,. and make-up will apply just as good,.

I never heard that, but once I shaved the peach fuzz on my upper lip and it felt really odd until the fuzz grew back. The fuzz is there for a reason. Just use Jolen Creme Bleach on your moustache fuzz if it gets dark and noticeable. The bleaching lasts a long time.
