The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) seems to approximately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

I did not check out your sources but i have been taught that god was quoted as saying "call me "YHVH" Now man has started calling him yaw wey or some such. They have added letters so they can pronounce it . whatever they call him now cannot be correct because the letters used are not even in the Hebrew alphabet. I do not put a whole lot of faith in the new cutting edge bible versions because i have found that man is taking liberties with the finer and sometime important points of the bible. Satan isn't exactly sitting on his haunches SWINDLED

"When Christians, unaware of the Jewish tradition, started to read the Hebrew Bible, they read יְהֹוָה with the Masoretic vowels together with the consonants as written, and obtained Iehovah. Today this transcription is generally recognized as mistaken. Many religious groups continue to use the form Jehovah, because it is familiar and because the correct pronunciation of יהוה is unknown."
YHWH- Real name, or you could just say HaShem (the Name), Adonai (the Lord), or God, or Deus, Dios, or whatever, as they are all titles, rather than actual personal names. The Lord's name is indeed powerful, and if said in spite, is very dangerous. Hence the reason no one knows its actual pronunciation, as the Jews feared it so.

Chapter 6 of Exodus defines the name of the Lord as Jehovah. Yet few people realize that the God of the Old Testament, Jehovah, is actually Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
It was Jesus Christ who had created the worlds and it was He, through divine investiture of the Father, that was the God of Moses, Isaiah, Jacob, and other prophets.

Yes I did. HE has other names also. That is what is so beautiful about the Hebrew language. The name is more than just something to call a person. Their names actually have deep meaning (epically in the BIBLE). The names reveal their personalities or the conditions under which they were born. With G_D, HIS names are about HIS atributes. Beautiful!

Yes it is Jehovah and Jesus made his Father's name known to everyone when he was here on earth. John 17:26 So it is very important that we give glory and honor to our Heavenly Father Jehovah just as his son Jesus did.

His name could not be written down, even in the bible, so they made an anachronism from the first letter of each of His names, (IAWA) and people today take that for his name. His name is unutterable, for whoever utters it, claims it as his own when it is really God's.
It saddens me when people claim to know my God, yet they don't even know His name. God, indeed, has covered His face from this generation.
