I'm used to sit leaning to my right side, I've been sitting a lot for the past two year (because I have t study) and I and my family are noticing my right shoulder is lower than my left and I kinda lean on the right when I walk, could sitting leaning toward one side cause scoliosis? should I go to the doctor?
thanks in advance!!

Bad posture was thought to be a cause of Scoliosis in young girls..but most of the time.. it's congenital. Just practice good posture or have your medical doctor test you for Scoliosis. I know it was done in school's years ago. Not sure they test in schools anymore.

He's just not ready to sit up yet so he'll look slumped to the side. Scoliosis is actually a curvature of the spine in one spot, not the whole spine. I have a very mild version and it does not affect me in the least nor does it require any form of treatment. One thing that is sort of common in infants is a preference or a tilt to one side - your doctors look for this though and would inform you if you needed to do anything about it.

If you see that your right shoulder is lower, why not try to improve your posture - like there's a string going from the top of your head to the ceiling, and sit/stand as straight as you can.
I thought my scoliosis was from standing that way and carrying school books - but they gave me those exercises when I was nine. Guess not (I didn't do them, and wasn't reminded) - But do try to correct it with good posture, because when it becomes permanent, you can find that a skirt doesn't hang right - higher on one side- and it's kind of hard to look good in clothes.

No those do not cause scoliosis. If you think you have scoliosis yes see the doc and get checked but normally they check for this when you have your yearly physical exam.
