You can legally own a firearm in all 50 states.
There are some restrictions as to you (1) can't have a criminal record or (2)Can't be a minor - in PA you can own a rifle at 18 but you have to be 21 to own a handgun.
Check with you local police or a gun shop for all the restrictions that pertain to your state.

All 50 states allow you to own a firearm. All 50 states also allow a person the right to carry a firearm concealled, as long as they take a test and range time.
Unfortunately, not all states recognize other state's permits. (For example, if someone has a permit in Iowa, the state of Colorado does not recognize that, thus making it illegal without that states own permit)
