What is the best shampoo for my hair?

Question

I have dark brown/black hair.
It is thick.
I want it to be really shiny and soft, and doesn't cause buildup on my scalp.
Must have a good fragrance.


I am currently using PHILOSOPHY, which I love, but sometimes I like to switch it up.

I have the same dark, thick hair you do. I am currently using Brunette Goddess by Bedhead and its awesome! It smells like chocolate and it does great things to my beautiful hair that I work so hard for! I think you would like it!

i have dark brown, thick coarse hair.

Hair gets build up in it from all the shampoos, stylers, and conditioners it recieves. Therefore, hair needs a clarifying shampoo once every week or two.

You notice the difference every time you clarify it because it feels so amazingly clean and great. that being said, you can clarify it with natural methods (i.e vinegar, lemon juice) but i find that to sting and be a hassle. so i use paul mitchell shampoo 2. it smells citrus-y and makes my hair feel amazing.

i've read reviews for neutrogena's clarifying shampoo and they're pretty great as well.
