Back in 1990, my grand-father was in the hospital. He was in there for awhile, but got better and went home. Couple weeks later he went back in for a couple of weeks. One day I decided I had to go and see him. We had never been close, he was just that kind of person, not mean or anything, but not loving. Just there you know. I wanted to get to know him and actually talk to him. I went to the hospital but he had died at two oclock that AM. Why did I pick that day to go? Two months later my grandma was in the hospital. One day I had to see her. I loved her more than anyone, I couldn't take it anymore. No vehicle, I couldn't sit still, I felt like I was going insane. My bf's friend came over and he was going to take me.He wouldn't leave right away, and I was in such turmoil. Before we could leave, my father showed up, as soon as he walked in I didn't look at him, I said , she died. I knew. How?If these things are real, they happen alot, there is no scientific proof, but it's real. Why not God

I would hardly call what you described as any kind of premonition and definitely not even remotely any kind of proof for any kind of god.

Well I can account for gut feelings being true sometimes like that, but I wouldn't necessarily peg something like that is being the proof of a god.

Somebody also "felt" quite certain that Saddam was hiding weapons of mass destruction, and searched desperately for almost four years before admitting that there was nothing to be found. Feelings don't prove anything.

Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Ooh!

I had a premonition before too! I lost my DVD and dreamt that I found it under the couch. So when I woke up, I looked under the couch and there it was! Probably just my subconscious. It goes crazy on me a lot. -_-''

yeah, I'm going to say sheer coincidence and life happening. But I am an uber-skeptic who also really distrusts the way people remember things.

Well, it would have been better to have these "premonitions" (as you call them) sooner, wouldn't it?

But I don't see how that proves god, as such.

Even if they were genuine "premonitions" (which I doubt), it would, at best, prove premonitions, not god.

Premonitions are just a trick of the brain like deja vu.

Feelings as proof of god? No.

Coincidence. These things prove nothing.

No.

Why don't you tell us what the DOW will close at next Friday and maybe we will believe you.
