I read.

I've never been isolated. I've always had a book to read - and generally one of them was a bible or some type of book about God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit and and some type of communication. As long as I had two those things I needed nothing else because I knew God would provide the rest and He did. Whenever I needed help, my family seemed to know it and they were there -whether I was lonely in the hospital after having surgery or needing someone to talk to after one of my friends died at an early age.

Atheists are by definition isolated from God because they deny his existance. They cannot get relief from this isolation without dropping this opinion from their thoughts. Christians are only isolated from God while they continue in sin, knowingly and unrepentant. Isolation can be relieved by obeying God's commandments and having Faith in Jesus Christ. Don't forget to apply the Blood shed for the remission of sins. Fellowship with God is prefferable to isolation from God but you must experience the difference to know that there is one. Even though He will never leave you or forsake you, you must work to hold up your end of the relationship. Read the Bible more often than you watch TV, listen to music or read anything else, we're talking about entertainment here. If you don't understand what you read, inform God you repent of your sins and you want His personal guidance to understand what He says to you in the Bible. As you grow in Christ your views will change according to your maturity in Christ. Remember that a new born baby is just as much a part of the family as Mom and Dad even though it is totaly uneducated. From birth to adulthood, maturity is the only thing added to babies. It doesn't matter what church you go to or what your neighbor believes. All that matters is whether or not you will obey God when He gives you personal instructions to follow. This is what sets believers apart from unbelievers. And remember that proper instructions for a small child are not the same as proper instructions for children in high school or college. So it is in Christ, the younger learn basics and the older fine tune skills. Yet both in the same family. Not all children grow and learn at the same rate either. Some children excel and some are retarded. Yet the same family. When you start to learn that which others around you cannot grasp, they will still need grace to grow even if they aren't mature enough to catch on to the lesson. Don't be frustrated with them, just keep on going yourself. Open rebuke is better than silent love but you cannot withhold love either. God can cure every sin described in the Bible and every disease people can get, except for one issue- blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. If you don't believe me try it. Everyone eventually finds out that it is all true, some before death and some after death. Dying is like pushing the stop button on a tape recorder. Nothing new can be added after death. You die an Atheist or a Beliver. Then God decideds whether to keep the "tape," your soul, in his collection or throw it in the fire. We all have the right to our opinion. I, mine and you, yours. Stating our opinions doesn't change anything that is a fact. Having an opinion doesn't mean we know the facts. Nothing I have said above can be proven or disproven as a fact. Nothing stated by any other person making a post can be proven or disproven as a fact. Some opinions seem to be more proveable than others. For example: "Gravity sucks." everyone believes it's true, this makes it appear to be a fact. But it is possible that some other explaination outside of our grasp exists. Good luck with your opinions. May they all turn out to be facts someday.

Isolated from what? from who?

I don't really do anything. Sit, make friends with people and manipulate the hell out of them later.

I sleep. No, seriously, when I am alone, I think and I pray. Sometimes I talk to God, sometimes I listen to Him. I feel very close to God when I am isolated from other human beings.

Isolated? Like lost in the woods? because face it, unless you are in the middle of I-80 in Nebraska by yourself, or out in the desert in Arizona,or lost in the Rockies in Wyoming, you're not isolated anywhere anymore.

Moot question.
