OK, first of all I think its totally fine to like different hairstyles but Im warning you Mean people will call you a poser.
Emo hair:
You need 'fringe' side-swept bangs (usually to the right eye) covering the entire face or just your eye.
Long layers for girls work. The layers are choppy...razored...even if there are multiple layers they are razord also.
You need a flat iron and serum to protect your hair from damage... I use garnier fructis and paul mitchell smoothing serum. Pomade/ wax helps to flick out the ends and give it a messy look...but it depends on your haartypen (i read shampoo bottles too much)
