Heaven and Hell?

this is not a religion bashing question i just want to har peoples opinions about this

how can there be a distinct heavon or hell when one mans heavon is anothers man hell i dont know the bible i do not follow a religion but i believe you should be able to practice whatever religion you wish freely as long as it doesnt disrespect anybody elses preferances so how is it that predefined areas can be called heavon or hell

ok some people didnt understand the question i understand that if you sin you go to hell but in some religions the christian or catholic heavon may not be the heaven they want it could be there hell so once again how can there be a distinct heavon and hell and and if unpure thoughts are a sin then everyone has sinned therefore everyone should in theory go to "hell" what happens when hell fills up

and how can one religion be right and all others be wrong if one person believes in that religion it is right to that person and if you dont respect there beliefs wouldnt that make you a sinner for not excepting everyone or something like that

Man does have a right to practice whatever religion they wish. Heaven and hell are in the Bible. The heaven and hell stated therein has not been created yet.

Life would be meaningless if there is no promise of heaven. If there is no afterlife then we are no different from animals. So let's just eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die? Why are we here in the first place?
Why do we have a superior intelligence?
So that we can come to a full knowledge of our Creator who is Wisdom and Love.Life comes from life and the original life must have come from a Being possessing eternal life, that is, life that existed before physical life was created. Where can such life be found? It can only be found in God, who possesses eternal life. A being who is Absolute Love and Wisdom. The opposite is hate, greed, envy, and all the vile things associated with evil. We have to be like God to share his love. Jesus Christ did that for us.

The reason one man's heaven is another man's hell is because we live in a materialistic world. Someone is always envious of someone else's life or world. As for practicing whatever religion you want, there is only one religion that is true. The bible says if anyone either changes and/or modifies the true doctrine in the bible then cast him/her away for they are now twisting the truth or God's words to justify not only their sins, but lies and false beliefs.

Yeah well God is not amused if you sin. He is even less amused if you don't believe in Jesus.
Of all the souls he created, the vast majority will end up in Hell, cause God is in no mood to mess around.

Take for example the questions that people ask here on Yahoo Answers -- God reads these questions, and if you write anything God doesn't like you are headed straight to Hell.
Jesus came to earth a long time ago and tried to cheer people up with the promise of eternal life; but God has the final say in the matter, and there will be very few going to Heaven.

God himself said in the Bible, and this is a quote, "All liars will be cast into that lake which burneth forever." And he mentioned many other types which will accompany the liars.

As for Heaven, the only people that have any chance of going there, are the people that sell all their wordly possessions, and give the money to the poor; and then live a homeless and destitute life, as Jesus did.

And even that is no quarantee, for all people are also judged on their thoughts. "There is nothing hidden" God has declared.

Many religions have claimed they are the exclusive way to heaven, everyone else will suffer eternally. If a God wanted us to follow a certain religion, he would tell us which one is the correct one, instead of making all evidence point against organized religion. Who would follow such an idol?

If your soul is chosen worthy to continue, it will become one with the Holy Spirit.
Hell does not exist, and many of these so-called Christians here better be glad that it doesn't. You will be lucky to just fade from existance.

If this great teacher is "on the mark" how can there be some place else?
So, if the kingdom is within you, where is God?
That great teacher, by the way, was Jesus, called Christ.

well you sound logical but religion claims miracles on their side meaning anything is possible so what's the sense of having a brain and a mind when miracles preempt reality as we know it .
I don't buy into the supernatural but I can't tell others when 2+2 =3 because it's a miracle!
