Yes. In fact you can love someone even more than the first.

It's a matter of experience. The more experienced with the thing called love that you get, the better able you are to love someone. Which means that every relationship you go through you find out more about what true love is until one day you find yourself at the altar increadibly capable of loving the perosn you choose to marry.

That depends. We can love someone more than we loved the first. One thing's sure though, the first will always have a special place in our heart.

i am woundering the same thing, i compare others to my first all the time and what i realized is the person i am with has what my first didnt have which is my trust, but he is lacking what my first had which is compassion, so i think when i find some one that has every thing that i want like compassion trustworthy , loyality and so on i am sure i will love that person more than i loved my first.
