I'm crazy about this guy in my class but there is just no way I can tell him. So I just thought i'd send him a nice poem just so he knows someones thinking about him. If it were u I were sending it to would u be annoyed, flattered, could care less, etc. Just wondering....

Shoot. I'm so confused. Im only in 8th grade and it would be awkward as hell "going out" with him. I dont want to regret anything either. I just want to send him a poem. I dont want to annoy him or anything, I just need to get my feelings for him out on paper.

I would be flattered at first and then quickly get angry that someone was playing games. Guys don't like games.

Well, I'm married, but I'd be flattered. I don't think of myself as terribly attractive (okay, so I think I'm an ugly SOB), but judging from the looks I get in the mall or at the pool, I must not be. That said, guys like to have their egos stroked (and I mean EGOS, not anatomy), and getting a valentine from a secret admirer would just tickle the hell out of me, and probably most other guys.
Of course, you're going to have to come clean sooner rather than later if you do this, otherwise he's likely to think you a tease.
Bear in mind, also, that guys generally get annoyed when they think someone is playing a game with them. Add your name, or at least a clue, and let him find out who you are. Trust me, if you don't at least TRY to get what you want, you will someday regret it. Try expressing yourself with words, and add your name. It's what I do when there's something I want to tell a woman, but I just can't work up the courage to tell her face-to-face.

Do what makes you feel comfortable. I'd prefer to get a nice poem with a name on it.

If it was me I would be curious and flattered.
It is normal practise to send Valentine cards anonymously.

As long as you were planning on letting him know it was you....it would drive me crazy not knowing who it was.
So when you think about it, maybe it'd be better to just talk to him and eventually ask him out someday.
