Is it okay to wear a rosary as a necklace? Like, in religious terms...

you can wear whatever you want. i never heard of rosary wearing as a sin. i also never heard of rosaries in the bible, either. so.

my grandma once told me it was disrespectful to wear it like that...
but i did once read someone else's opinion about a similar topic in a newspaper and it made sense to me (not that i agree with it but..) in the paper it said that this person thought it was a beautiful thing that people would wear religious symbols... showing their faith and bringing god to society.
personally..... i think its tacky... i think its like using this scared symbol as just a fashion accessory... i wouldnt do it... but to each its own.

there are some christians who do so as it's symbolic and not used in a form of idolatry
