Does this also reflect at all what his followers attitudes are towards animals and their habitat?

God doesn't care at all how they die, if they die or how they are treated, so why should I?

Of course He does....He watches over the sparrow. God is a Good God and His Laws are Laws of seed sowing. Anytime we sow seeds of kindness or of love, thats what we get back. He also allows some to be food for us. When we are kind to animals and others, we reap kindness back to ourselves. PEACE!!!

GOD certainly cares about each and every one of us but satan has caused a lot of pain and suffering. GOD has never caused any Christian to have any attitude toward animals that I can remember. O know that a number of our Christain friends do care for a good number of different animals as either pets, livestock, or 4h projects. The care and welfare of our environment should be a matter of everyone's concern. It is the one part of this planet that man has destroyed the most and does the most damage to the plant and animal life in general. Have a great evening.

God is the loving Creator of all things -- why wouldn't He care about what happens to His creation? There are a number of Bible passages that deal with this subject.

Psalms 36:6 says, "Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast."

Matthew 6:26. "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"

Luke 12:6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?"

Matthew 10:29 "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father."

If God cares about even the smallest birds and animals in His creation, how can we do any less?

God created all life and therefore I do believe He cares for all life, but in the beginning, he placed humans in charge of the animals. He gave us dominion over them and thus their lives.

But it is said in the Bible that God knows when even a sparrow dies so I believe He does care for them.

If you want someone who truly loved animals and that was given by God the power to communicate with them on a level, read St. Francis of Assisi's life. It's amazing and it shows that even God's smallest creations are loved and cared for.

The bible says a Righteous man cares for his Beasts in

Proverbs 12:10
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Also, theres a Scripture that says, not to Muzzle an oz.
Deuteronomy 25:4
Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

1 Corinthians 9:9
For it is written in the law of Moses, thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
10Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

Theres a Scripture that says, don't disturb a nest. etc...

God also loves Humans, He loved his Son Jesus.

Gave his Life, for us. The animal sacrifice pointed to Jesus. He doesn't say to do that anymore.

In the very beginning, Adam and Eve were Vegetarians. Sin came and Animal Sacrifice came, to point to Jesus in the Future. Animals and Humans lived in Peace. In the Kingdom, we will get back...Even the animals will be vegetarian.

How else can the Lion, lay peacefully with the Lamb?

Isaiah 11:6
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

I like the first answer and agree with it. The same G-d who ordered animal sacrifices. Did he really oredered that or was that just an occult and sect thing to do? I can not imagine G-d really ordering that He created the beautiful animals. I think the sacrifice of animals is a cult part of the bible, but I wonder if G-d really wants us to believe that.

The Bible says that God knows when a sparrow falls, so why wouldn't He be concerned with us? God loves animals. That's why when He created them, He told Adam and Eve to name them and to be caretakers of them. Yes, He gave them to us as food (after the flood in Noah's time), but He still wants us to be kind to them. This is why I struggle with the notion of people doing experiments on animals. God loves the animals. God IS love. If WE love animals, and it makes US sad when they are hurt or suffering, wouldn't it make sense that a loving God, whose image we are made in, and who gave us the ability to love animals, would love them even more? Yes, He cares about their suffering. It makes Him sad. There are many Christians who believe that animals don't go to Heaven because the Bible says they have no souls. I don't agree with these folks. When I think of a soul, I think of one who has the ability to reason between right and wrong and to be held accountable for that. Animals are innocent. They are incapable of knowing right from wrong - they are only capable of knowing cause and effect - action and consequence. Why would a loving God condemn innocent animals who could never deliberately do wrong, by not allowing them entrance to Heaven, when He allows even the vilest of sinning humans entrance to Heaven if we confess our sins and accept God's Son into our hearts? I don't believe God does this. The Bible also mentions a time when we will all be communing with God, face to face, and when the lion and the lamb will lay down next to each other. If there were no animals in Heaven, then how would this be possible? God loves animals WAY more than we do. He allows them to suffer for the same reasons we can't understand as when He allows humans to suffer. He has His reasons, but he DOES care, and so should we. Animals depend on us to protect them and not mistreat them.

All creation groans, Father hears.

He notices when a little sparrow dies. He cared for the livestock of Nineveh in the book of Jonah. See also Romans chapter 8

Our Father loves His creatures. I am happy for them, they will also live in the restored paradise. In Isaiah it is described they will no longer kill each other to eat.

Of course he cares....it says he knows when a sparrow falls. Suffering of humans and animals alike was brought on by our sin.

God gave animals to our care, and it is us who do not give animals the treat that He would expect. God gave us this beautiful planet to live in, to care for it and to appreciate everything it has in it, and look how we are doing.
