I think about him constantly. I have a diary with his name written in big black letters on the front. I have written many songs about him. I think that he is perfect.
If I am, what should I do? My parents say that I am too young to date.

Well the real question is what kind of love are you in. There are so many kinds of love and so many different reasons for them. There is puppy love which is more infatuation and superficial. It doesnt last so long and can change in an instant. A lot of grown ups think that kids/young adults dont know what real love is. I dont believe this is so. Young people may not have as much experience as adults but they do still feel and love. There is also first love. Most of us old farts remember our true first love. It is the one that gets you by the heart and soul and just kind of hangs on for life somewhere in the back of your mind. This is usually also the one that breaks your heart bad as well. As we grow and change we realize that true love as in TRUE love is a love that is beyond the bounds of space, time, money , hardship, and even life. There are times in your life when you will understand that you would actually die for someone and without a thought about it. This is the love you will one day have for your husband and children or who knows. I am betting you are in the first stages of love so here is what you need to do. .. ENJOY IT. I know the days of sweaty palms and practicing kissing are well in my past, but you are in the prime of your life so stop and have fun. If you are completely nervous to ask him out and your parents say no dating send him a note at school that says hi. Or have a friend feel him out and see what he thinks of you. The thing that really turns a guy on is confidence. Feel great about yourself and comfortable with yourself and you will be sexy. Wear clothes that make you look good and feel good. If you have a class with him, spray some perfume on before you go in. Fix your hair different. And when he does start to notice you, which he will, dont go bananas right off the bat for him, lead him a little and go from there. And remember that you have a whole batch of boys out there who probably like you and you dont even know it. :O)

So, first of all, I think you should take it down a notch or two. I think that you are either in love or obsessed. Don't try to figure out which one it is. Parents are parents. They probably won't budge on the subject. Just give it time until you can date if you still like him then, make your move!!

sounds a bit like an infatuation lol. just realize that there will be many boys out there that seem perfect until you really get to know them. but i'm not one to say. don't let anyone tell you what you're feeling. if you're in love you'll know. However, love can come and go, it's not one of those once in a lifetime things. as for your parents, what they don't know won't hurt them.

If your parents think that you are too young to date. More than likely, they are correct. Sweetie, it sounds like infatuation (puppy love). When you are truly in love you will know it and you will not have to ask anyone. You will feel it in your heart first. Best of luck.

honestly sweetie i believe if u have to ask then you are not. u may be in lust. but u are never too young to fall inlove. to be comitted or ina serious relationship is something different. u may be too young for that. but honestly just stick around with him possibly tell him how u feel and keep him as a friend because no one is perfect and if u keep him as a friend u guys can start a friendship that may be unbreakable with time.

I think you may be about 13-15 years old.
and i don't think you are in love it`s what we older people call puppy love. in time you will know real love you will not have to ask anyone what it feels like.believe me.

you are too young to know what LOVE really is. But you are really infatuated with him. I remember feeling this same way. You think it is really love, no motter what people say- but it really isn't. sometimes it is so wierd to grow up. All these emotions! Hang in there!
